Just saying:
The ones who will appreciate a great lesson.
The ones who will apply all that knowledge.
(Available online btw.)
These people are supposed to be educated geniuseez.
Wrong, ladies! I have to prove us wrong.
Many people think that you and me have no hope.
A simple, lowest-salary job and a non-academic
background put us in the soup of 'the unprivileged'.
Oh, really?
Really. Let me tell you what I hear every day from the pals I work with: ''I (we) should feel inferior because I am not successful by the standards of my society. What do they know? What do I know? Not much. But, honestly, do you think that Mr. Shopperfield with his wife's new child-slaved diamonds and his twins' upbringing that lacks his physical presence as a Father compensated by PlayStations & iPads, is in superior position? He is not. A nice car should be no-one's dream. It's just a toy. A life dream (?) c'mon.
Expensive objects and fake relationships are part of a game we are asked to play. Wait a second John. We live once, and it happens to be now. I have way more importants to do than play your class & success game. I have people to love and offer my real affection, I have knowledge of the physical and social world to digest and apply. I have my chance to honesty, self-respect and meaningful work. I am not a wreck. By choice. My finances won't impress you, my job title won't intrigue your respect, because you have learned to respect job titles, not human beings. I am sorry Miss. I am sorry Mister. I have some friends to watch these videos with. You are invited too, but I'll never beg for your interest or cash.
Cheers
(Not to imply that wealthy people are heartless bitches, or poor guys just unfortunate. We build societies on stereotypes. It's a basic attribute of our brain ...watch more here).
