We all know that the statement is not correct.
Yet, we give it a second thought, 'what does he mean?'.
I may come up with a good argument to support that 'happiness is for losers' and you might disagree but see my point.
Why?
Why we would accept an idea or a fact we are totally against with?
These people -these guys over there- suffer total depreciation from most people around them with which they long ago complied. They now act respectively, they have become poor pathetic losers.
I can be happy just aside them, sitting on my favorite bistro's yard with a friend enjoying our wine & soft cheese spread on bruscetta. And indeed I do.
I am ok with that. Sure man, that's how it is, that's how it works here. I can't woe for every wreck around me. It's not my fault, it's theirs.. or they've just been unfortunate. Life is life you know.
And since they are the obvious losers, I should be the winner of the story. True. I am happy and grateful for my good life, even though sometimes I feel loser myself, but that's nonsense, I am quite the best, most around me suck, I wish I could help them but after all, it's none of my business I have a job and a family and a personal life which is barely as much as I can properly (successfully?) handle.
Cheers
