I fail to understand how highly educated chaps can behave like that. Building skills and widening or deepening our understanding of anything would inevitably enhance our overall human qualities. Totally wrong concept. I was totally wrong. I still am; since, somehow I haven't escaped that fallacy yet.
See, when we experience something or just wish we did, it looks so apparent. They are not.
