The money vs dignity paradox

You got a simple job, for enough money to happily survive, when, just before considering an upgrade in your career or 'class' you start facing my paradox. (Hereby ''I'' stands for ''you'' and money -for the first time- stands for something of own value).

Having to ask for, or protect money just because it represents my integrity in this society.


It's nothing about the amounts, but the situations in which people 'stealing' it make a fool out of me.

I have to fight with fellow humans for dignity while everybody knows it's for money.

Seriously. I couldn't care less. Stupid. Naive. Absurd. Or the words of a really rich person who doesn't value money, οr a romantic hippie. Well, I'm none of the above. I worked long hours for each £ I've made, which btw comparatively is almost nothing for most people in this city.

My job is a big part of my life. And my life is not about earning or spending much money.

Living a life that doesn't cost more that what people can steal out of me makes being fooled an imaginary threat I am only socially obliged to feel discomfort about. And -what a blissful realization- that's exactly how a billionaire could feel. 

It doesn't feel particularly good, just a little comfortable, to can afford my negligence where I could definitely be stressed 24/7 for not having enough to pay for a personal emergency and I could easily die or lose my beloved ones. 

You need that expensive thing because you want it so much and unlike a kid you can just go, pay by card and acquire it, or preferably steal it from someone like me. That's the best way in your society as it does reward savers and bargainers with more money that aren't a big deal to me to lose anyway (I wish, but there is some much of actual fighting on this field). 

So fish eating fish is not the same as humans because humans are not fish and humans don't actually eat & digest humans but they do kill them for iPhones and whitening chewing gums. 

Ain't more dishonorable than killing for expensives, think about it.
