Back to School

So after 4+ years I decided to call myself a -part time- student. I'm taking two online courses. Physiology starts in August. Introduction to Public Speaking is just on.

I am supposed to film and post for peer evaluation a simple introductory speech. Hard as much as useful challenge for a person so uncomfortable on camera.

Here is the chassis of it.

[Straight into smthn interesting]

- So, this is Zenia, a child with access to only poor education from the school and her family. Incidentally, she spends hours after hours online.

- This is Antonis,  He's on his mid twenties, has typically finished with his education which was -again- quite poor, but still loves learning, just doesn't take the initiative to grab a big-fat book and start studying.

- And finally, Yan and Becky, two parents who want to satisfy their children's beautiful curiosity, and through it, learn again how to explore the world around them.

For millions of such people, we now have two brand new resources.

Hi quality online university courses adapted to the online students.

and

A whole new generation of YouTube channels & communities, for shots of trivia, everyday science and complex concepts ingeniously outlined.

My goal is get more people to appreciate these amazing new gifts available to anybody who has a decent internet connection and some understanding of English.

For that reason, along with Facebook, twitter and blogging, I want to start filming my own videos, in Greek and in English. So this course is going to be extremely helpful.

My favorite speakers happen to be my favorite teachers.

I have audience 'd many talks and presentations, not to mention hundreds of them online.

To me engaging content and clear presentation humbly delivered is more influencing than sentiment-oriented passion talks.

I choose to show you Robert Sapolsky because he's the very first teacher whose film lectures I could watch not falling asleep. And we are talking about 50 minute biology & physiology lectures, not a light topic.
